This position will be full time and work out of our San Diego office. The technician provides hardware and software support and performs specific tasks related to Tech Support function to ensure smooth flow within the department and its staff.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

 

·         Provides continuity for desktop support to CFS staff. 

·         Answers general workstation questions and troubleshoots minor problems. 

·         Provides back office IT support when special projects arise.  Example would be annual conference, owners meeting, etc.

·         Performs routine maintenance on CFS staff workstations. This includes troubleshooting/repairing/replacing system components within the individual workstations. 

·         Provides troubleshooting and minor system repairs. 

·         Prepares training workstations for monthly Representative Training. 

·         Installs basic user applications. To include, Windows operating systems/user applications such as MS OFFICE /NetxPro etc., ensuring all workstations have the latest software updates.

·         Maintains configuration records for each workstation to include, available memory, OS, drivers, and applications.  Example would be location of the limited Acrobat Suites.

·         Sits with new employees to set them up on the network including shared directories, email, signature lines, voicemail and door combination.

·         Assists with software updates and account set ups.

·         Other duties may be assigned.

 

Must have strong organizational skills and follow through for timely customer response. This individual is a self-starter, is patient and a team player. Strong knowledge of computer software.

Experience in financial services industry is strongly preferred.
